A friendly\, hands-on workshop for women+ covering key road/trail-side bike repairs.\n\n\nThis Workshop is a practical\, hands-on course held at Drosi’s workshop\, where you will learn how to keep your adventure on track by checking & fixing your own bike. We will talk through the gear to carry on a ride and some of the most common trail/road side repairs (and some not so common!)\, and the practicalities of repairing a bike when you’re out and about. \nThe course will be split into two halves. DESCRIPTION:Come join our journey to school on Friday 27th September.\n\nThere’s nothing like riding side-by-side with friends to get your day off to the best start!\n\nWhen: Friday\, September 27th\nCycle Bus stops:\n\n8:30am – Departing St Collen Community Centre\n8:40am – Departing Pengwern Park\n8:45am – Arrive at school\n\nWhat: This is a free bicycle ride for school children and parents/guardians. The ride will be fun and inclusive\, and will give families a chance to ride together.\n\nWhy: The intention is to give families the confidence to ride to school and to show the need for more child-friendly and cycle-friendly towns\, and highlight the need for safe routes for children to cycle\, walk\, scoot\, and wheel to school.\n\nWhere: The main meeting point will be at St Collen Community Centre. From here the group will ride up to Bryn Collen school / Ysgol Y Gwernant\, via Brook St.\n\nWho: Pupils and parents from both primary schools are invited to join the ride. Participants must be competent bike riders and able to ride independently on pedal bikes. The only exception to this will be if younger children are being towed or are on child seats. Kids will need to be accompanied by parents / guardians.

DESCRIPTION:This is a friendly\, judgement-free space where you can come and use our tools and guidance to fix your own bike.\n\nEach month we’ll cover a specific maintenance goal – no experience is necessary\, just a willingness to learn.\n\nThe workshop will also be open to anyone wanting to work on something specific on their own bike.\n**Guidance 𝘮𝘢𝘺 be on hand but these are very much DIY sessions.\n\nIn this months workshop\, we’ll be going back to basics and covering:\n M Check (safety check)\n Identifying any wear\n Adjusting your bike for best fit\n Best practices for bike maintenance\n\nWhether you’re planning on popping by for 10 minutes or staying for the full session\, we’d love to see you!
