DESCRIPTION:Attend our Volunteer Training session and become a Drosi Volunteer.\n\n\nDrosi [Welsh] : to turn something into another\, for a particular use or purpose.  \nThe Volunteer Training will give you all the skills you need to volunteer at Drosi Bikes. \nHere at Drosi Bikes we believe in the power of the bicycle. Very few other forms of transport provide us humans with such a low cost (both money and carbon)\, easy maintenance and time-efficient way of getting about\, all while keeping us fit. We may have evolved for life on two feet\, but two wheels just makes sense! \nDrosi Volunteers play a key role at the Community Bike Workshop\, recycling discarded bikes saving them from landfill\, and refurbishing old bikes keeping them on the road for longer. \nVolunteering at Drosi Bikes will give you the opportunity to learn skills\, meet new people and provide a real benefit to the local community. The bikes you renovate will be re-homed locally via our shop or donated to refugees and asylum seekers\, helping people access low cost and sustainable transport. \nIs this for you? \nDrosi Bikes’ Volunteer program is for everyone\, regardless of age\, gender or background however this particular training workshop is for people with a basic understanding of bike repairs.
