DIY BIKE WORKSHOP

Drosi Bikes’ DIY workshop isn’t any normal workshop. This is a space where you can come and use our tools and expertise to fix your own bike.

1st WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH
3:00-5:00pm

Come down and take advantage of our fully equipped workshop with professional work stands and a comprehensive set of tools to help you tackle any problem. We also have a wide range of new and used parts available to purchase to get your bike working in top condition.

The workshop is coordinated by an experienced mechanic. There is a limit to the amount of help we can offer, particularly when we’re busy, so this workshop is better suited for those with some experience. Tea and coffee are always at hand.

Bring your bike to fix or for a simple check over at one of our women+ specific evenings. This is a space where women share knowledge and skills in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. No experience necessary!

WEDNESDAY 17th AUGUST 2022
WEDNESDAY 14th SEPTEMBER 2022
5:00 – 6:30pm

The women’s+ nights are run in a similar way to the DIY workshop, with an experienced bike mechanic on hand to help out. We’re also inviting volunteers to come along and share their knowledge and help others keep their bikes on the road.

To book your slot please email hello@drosibikes.org or pop into the workshop during our opening hours.

Women’s+ night is a friendly and inclusive evening, however, we understand new environments and new groups of people can feel intimidating. If you are coming along for the first time and feel nervous, get in touch and we would be happy to meet up before hand to help you get settled in, make some hot drinks and have a chat.

Wondering what the ‘+’ stands for? Drosi Bikes wants to make it clear that it’s Women’s nights include trans women, femme/feminine-identifying genderqueer and non-binary folks and any other women who may feel discriminated against in some areas of feminism.

We run the DIY workshop on a donation basis. Suggested donations are:

£0Low or no income, you don’t have to pay anything
£5Covers the cost of admin time
£10Helps towards the cost of maintaining tools and mechanics time
£15Covers the cost of the workshop
**No-one will be turned away due to lack of funds**

By coming along to any Drosi Bikes workshops you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
