About this event

Got squeaky brakes, slipping gears, or a mystery rattle? 🚲
Bring your bike along this half term for a free Community Doctor Bike session at Ruthin Market Hall! Hosted by Ruthin Artisan Markets CIC.

Our qualified mechanic will:
🔧 Give your bike a full health check
🔧 Fix common problems where possible (punctures, brake pads, squeaky brakes, slipping gears)
🔧 Show you how to do a quick M Check – a simple way to spot issues before every ride
🔧 Advise you on the right course of action if your bike needs more attention

This event is fully funded, so there’s no cost for the session – you’ll only need to pay for parts if your bike requires new ones. (We have a whole host of good second hand parts too!)

Whether you’re a daily rider, family of cyclists, weekend adventurer, or just dusting off your bike after a break – we’re here to help keep you safe and rolling smoothly.

Who is it for?
This event is open to all ages and cycling abilities. Families are welcome – it’s half term, so bring the kids’ bikes too! 🚴‍♀️🚴

Tickets
🎟️ Tickets are not necessary – however, it helps us to know how many to expect and if we an extra pair of hands. You can just walk in on the day too!
