Community Workshop: Developing a Bike & Climate Hub in Llangollen

We’re inviting local partners, organisations, and community members to join us for a collaborative workshop exploring how our bike workshop space in the centre of Llangollen could grow into a shared community and climate hub.

This session is an opportunity to come together, share ideas, and shape a space that responds to local needs – whether that’s supporting sustainable travel, building practical skills, creating inclusive activities, or tackling climate challenges at a grassroots level. We’re particularly keen to hear from those working across community development, youth engagement, health and wellbeing, and environmental initiatives as well as those living in our community.

The workshop will be informal and participatory, with time to connect, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for collaboration. Whether you’re interested in running activities, partnering on projects, or simply contributing your perspective, we’d love to have you involved.

Join us in imagining what this space could become, and how we can work together to make it happen.

Please note that booking is only required for the 16:00–17:00 workshop. If you would like to drop in between 17:00–18:00, there is no need to reserve a space.

16:00 – 17:00: Workshop, breakout groups & ideas
An interactive session introducing the project, followed by group discussions exploring key themes such as community needs, cycling, skills, youth engagement and climate action.

17:00 – 18:00: Networking, discussion & community drop-in
An informal session to continue conversations, meet others, and explore opportunities for collaboration. This is also a chance for people unable to make the workshop to drop in and share ideas, ask questions, and connect with Drosi Bikes and local partners.
